The

the signature on one side and information about the card on the

Both
the First and Second Editions of Famous Fabrics are very limited
products with an overall production run of just "400" and "500" cases
of 10-pack
boxes - 1 card per pack. The First Edition cards were scheduled for release in
February of 2010 followed closely by the 2nd Edition release in August
of 2010. Every card in both editions are encased in a Famous Fabrics holder. One-card packs of Famous Fabrics include a memorabilia or cut-signature card limited to either 1 copy (GOLD) or 9 copies (SILVER). (Even though these cards are not physically numbered, they all have their own serial number and are GOLD TRIM 1/1 or SILVER TRIM #/9). These cards do not have pictures of any of the sports figures, as Creative Cardboard Concepts does not have a license with any of these athletes. So each of the cards has either a cut autograph or piece of memorabilia of each athlete, making for some very unique cards. Here is a breakdown of the Hogan Cards in the 2010 Famous Fabrics First and Second Edition releases:
This makes for a total of 16 different Hogan cards in the 2010 Famous Fabrics releases! |

The 2012 Leaf Sports Icons Cut Signature Edition is very similar to its 2010 offering with every box having a slabbed cut signature or slabbed dual cut signatures. This series was, once again, a high end product retailing for $179 a box with only 1 card per box. With the 2010 series being the hunt for "Shoeless Joe", the 2012 issue is the hunt for "Joe Gibson". There were only 299 cases produced with 12 boxes per case. Therefore, only 3588 cards were produced. |

As you read the back of the Hogan card, you will see that some information listed is not always correct, as they have Mr. Hogan born in Dublin (Stephenville) and the year of his death as 1977 (1997). |

Building off a long and storied history, 2012 Sportkings Series E brings together greats from multiple sports and multiple generations. The 2012 Sportkings Series E base cards immediately stand out thanks too the detailed paintings of Jared Kelly, best known for his work on the 2011 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions Presidential Masterpieces. Each box comes with wither an autograph or game-used/event worn memorabilia card. Except for cut signatures, all autographs are on-card. Every case comes with either a cut signature, a massive Spectacular Patch or piece of original art from Kelley. Sportkings go all the way back to 1933 when Goudey Gum introduced the brand to the hobby with a 48-card set. The series was revived with 2007 Sportkings Series A. |

Below is information detailing the Sporting Life trading cards. This
is information found directly on their website about the cards they
have for sale on Ebay. There will be more Sporting Life cards
listed on this website in later years. These unique and extremely rare collectibles are made for a very exclusive cross section of the hobby "underground", who have lost some interest in the main stream, overproduced products that have no sense of craftsmanship and wallow in a sea of mediocrity, never to hold their value and relevance in the future. If your lucky enough to own one of these timeless gems, you can relish in knowing that very few other possess a rendition of this genuine article that defies the conventional. While this issue has the appearance of a late 19th Century Baseball card, it is a new, hand-crafted and randomly distressed Classic, indented to give the collector the look and feel of a Vintage card. But when the final population reports are tallied, it's rarity will compare to most issues one hundred years it's elder. This Sporting Life issue will have variations, and in some cases, an intentional lack of detail in printing, cutting, proofing, etc. Reminiscent of a period original issue. This will truly be a fun and challenging issue to collect. This is a NEW product: "Hand-Made and randomly DISTRESSED" to enhance collecting enjoyment by the Owner of the Sporting Life Trade Name. You will find the year produced on the back of the item. It is NOT a reprint! Many of the cards have the information on the back written by well known golf card collector and golf historian, Dave Johnson. |
2013 12 cards |
The
Series F SportKings production follows in a similar pattern as the
2012 Series E set with almost every imaginable sport covered along with
Presidents and other well known figures. Also found are art
cards,
paper cuts, patch cards, single/double /triple/quad memorabilia cards,
as well as many other subsets. The only Ben Hogan card found in this set is the Vintage Paper Cuts VP-BH. However, there could be up to 6 more Hogan redemption cards: a silver and gold for a single, a double, and a triple memorabilia with Hogan, Hogan/Stewart, Hogan/Stewart/Nelson. |

Product Detail: In 2011, Leaf came out with a program where you sent them a cut autograph certified by JSA, or PSA/DNA and they would make you a custom card with a special border and then it would be slabbed by Beckett. This would only be done for the 1st certified auto of any one person they received in a calendar year. Therefore, each one would be a 1 of 1. They started with single autographs, but quickly moved on to dual autographs and multiple autographs. Below is information I could gather from the Leaf Corporation concerning this endeavor. At the end of each year, Leaf would put out a population report. I could not find those reports for 2011 or 2012, so I am not sure of any Ben Hogan cards for those years. However, I did find all of the population reports for 2033-2018. Leaf Trading Cards is pleased to announce all new design templates for its popular Executive Collection program in 2014 where Leaf gives you the power to create your own custom cut signature card! Now you can own the cut you've always wanted. Turn any certified signature into an Executive Collection Cut Signature Card! If you are the first to submit an authenticated cut signature of a particular celebrity or athlete who have not yet had a Leaf Executive Collection card created during that calendar year, then your card will automatically become a gold-templated 1 of 1! If the celebrity's cut has been submitted previously, you will receive a beautifully designed red and silver bordered card. Like it did in 2013, Leaf is also able to create DUAL AUTO Executive Collection Cards. However, only one of each combination of dual signatures will be accepted per year. Therefore each dual-cut signature card automatically becomes a 1 of 1 and will be the only one of its kind produced during that particular calendar year. |
